Commissioner Larry Harvey has proudly served the people of Putnam County since being appointed to the Board of County Commissioners in 2014 and later elected by the voters of District 4. A lifelong Putnam County resident and graduate of Palatka High School, Larry spent more than two decades as the owner and president of Harvey Insurance Agency before bringing his business experience to public service.

Known for his conservative leadership and strong commitment to economic development, infrastructure, and fiscal responsibility, Commissioner Harvey has represented Putnam County on numerous regional and statewide organizations, including the Florida Association of Counties and the Small County Coalition. Throughout his service, he has earned recognition for his advocacy on behalf of Florida's rural communities and his dedication to improving the quality of life for Putnam County families.
